If you were anywhere near downtown Magee on Saturday night, February 7, you know one thing for sure—Main Street Magee was the place to be! Mardi Gras rolled into town, and it brought color, laughter, music, and a whole lot of beads with it.

The parade was full of everything that makes Magee special. Floats, walkers, antique cars, jeeps, decorated golf carts, and creative entries filled Main Street from one end to the other. And yes—we even had folks walking the parade route with their dogs, tails wagging and beads flying. You just don’t get more Magee than that!

Thanks to Main Street Magee, the evening was packed with fun from start to finish. Candy and beads rained down on smiling faces, and the crowd was all in—hands in the air, kids laughing, and adults acting like kids again.

After the parade wrapped up, the party kept going with a live band and food trucks lining downtown, giving everyone a chance to grab a bite and enjoy the music. The shoebox floats were on display for judging, and let me tell you—those entries were creative, colorful, and downright impressive. It was hard to pick a favorite!

From the first bead thrown to the last song played, the night was filled with fun, community spirit, and plenty of Mardi Gras cheer. Magee showed up, showed out, and proved once again that we know how to celebrate together.

Laissez les bons temps rouler, Magee—until next year! 💜💛💚
