Faye Nell Berry, 72 of Mendenhall, MS passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS. She was born Monday, July 18, 1949 in Magee, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall in 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery in Mendenhall, MS. Bro. Maurice Bryant, Bro. Stephen Keen, and Ryan May will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401
Mrs. Berry was a faithful church member of Weathersby Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family who she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Berry of Mendenhall, MS; parents, Don and DeLonis Cook Brown both of Mendenhall, MS; brother, JW Brown of Magee, MS; sisters, Katie Womack of Mendenhall, MS and Mary Austin of Mendenhall, MS; nephew, Daniel Walker of Mendenhall, MS.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Berry of Mendenhall, MS; son, Jason Berry (Kimberly) of Mendenhall, MS; three grandchildren, Lee Berry of Mendenhall, MS, Jakob Berry of Mendenhall, MS and Eli Berry of Mendenhall, MS; nephews, Bob Shows (Becky) of Mendenhall, MS, Steve Womack (DeAnna) of Mendenhall, MS, Wayne Womack (Wendy) of Mendenhall, MS, Lane Shows of Mendenhall, MS, and Ryan May of Mendenhall; nieces, Martha Phillips of Mendenhall, MS, Sharon Keys of Magee, MS, and Stacey Womack of Mendenhall.
Pallbearers will be Bob Shows, Doug May Jr., Lane Shows, Steve Womack, Wayne Womack, and Wayne Lee.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brown, and Doug Phillips.
