JACKSON, MISS. – The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is proud to announce the winners of the Star-Spangled Digital Message Sign (DMS) Contest, which invited the public to create patriotic traffic safety messages in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
“We appreciate everyone who participated in this contest and helped promote traffic safety in a creative and patriotic way,” said MDOT Executive Director Brad White. “We received lots of fun and interesting messages, and the winners did a great job of showcasing patriotic pride while promoting safe-driving habits throughout the holiday week.”
The following messages will be featured on MDOT’s DMS signs across Mississippi highways this week:
