The City of Magee is asking the community to come together to support residents of Purvis as recovery efforts continue following the recent tornado.
Through the Purvis Relief Project, donations will be collected May 14 through May 22 at Magee City Hall to assist families impacted by the storm. City officials are encouraging residents to lend a helping hand by contributing essential supplies needed during the recovery process.
Requested donation items include:
- Cleaning supplies
- Hygiene items
- Baby items
- Food and hydration supplies
The relief effort is designed to provide practical assistance to those working to rebuild and recover after the devastating weather event.
Community members have always shown a willingness to step up during times of need, and city leaders hope that same spirit of generosity will once again make a difference for neighbors in Purvis.
Residents wishing to participate are encouraged to gather items and help support the relief drive during the collection period.
In times like these, even small acts of kindness can have a meaningful impact.
