Traffic signal installation at U.S. 49 at D’Lo Truck Stop in Simpson County
MCCOMB, MISS. – The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is installing a new traffic signal on U.S. 49 at D’Lo Truck Stop in Simpson County.
The new signal will be placed in flash mode starting Thursday, July 23 (updated) for up to a week before the signal begins full operation. The signal will flash yellow before it is fully operational.
While this work is being completed, MDOT reminds motorists to use proper protocol when approaching a flashing yellow traffic signal. There is no need to come to a complete stop at a flashing yellow light, but motorists should stay alert for other drivers entering the highway and proceed with caution.
