Today, Tuesday March28, 2022, is the day to vote for or against the school bond issue. There has been enough talk and fussing since the initiative was introduced to the public.
Almost everyone in Simpson County has an opinion. I feel, we as citizens of Simpson County should band together no matter the outcome of the vote. I believe we all want what is best for the students in our county…just how to arrive at “the best” is where the differences comes into play.
Consolidation was decided by the members of the Simpson County School Board. These individuals were elected to do what they thought best for the students.
I know these board members did their homework. They never made this decisions lightly. With that being said, let’s join together as we face a new future for our Simpson County High School.
