The weather, in Magee Tuesday night, June 23, 2020, was anything but calm!  The thunder and lightning rolled in and with it brought high wind gust.

This home located at 115 6th Avenue SE suffered major damage from a large tree landing on the roof and a vehicle parked in the driveway.  Magee Police & Fire department were called to the scene to assist.

I’m just saying, I would probably have a heart attack if a tree fell on my house!  Last night when the winds were howling, I thanked the Lord that the dead tree in my back yard had finally been removed.  I do believe if that tree was still standing, it would have been laying on my house last night.

Prayers for this family.  I imagine the rain did a lot of damage to the inside of the house.

Everyone stay safe and be wether aware.  Plus!!! With the increase in COVID-19 cases, take precaution as you are out and about.  Continue to avoid large crowds and small spaces!

Also, while I am on a roll, please, complete your CENSUS form!

Have a great day—even in the rain!!!
