He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from a career as a Bridge and Building Supervisor with the Railroad. He loved his family and he will be missed by all who knew him.
William is survived by his sons, William C. Russell (Christina), Brian Russell; sisters, Barbara Alexander, Sallie Giacone; grandchildren, Jon, Kyle, Josh, Justin and Andrew Russell.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma Russell and sister, Bonnie Lea Beal.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee, MS from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 14, 2019, at Stonewall Baptist Church in Mendenhall, MS with an hour of visitation before the beginning of service. Interment will follow in Stonewall Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
