            The Mississippi Supreme Court is seeking public comments as it considers whether to revise Canon 5 of  the Code of Judicial Conduct.

            The Supreme Court seeks comments from the bench, the bar, and the public regarding revisions and/or possible repeal of Canon 5 F “Special Committee – Proceedings and Authority.”

            The deadline for filing public comments is November 4. Comments must be filed with the Clerk of Appellate Courts at Post Office Box 249, Jackson, Mississippi 39205.
