Nannie Prestwood, 82, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, January 9, 1937.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee. The Burial will follow in Rials Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Sammy Napier and Rob Webb will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Prestwood was an active member of Rials Creek United Methodist Church where she served many offices, teachers, choir director, cluster representatives; & committees. She loved to support her church and its endeavors to bring souls to Christ. She was also a past member of Magee Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star. Along with reading her bible every day and witnessing to all she came in contact with her focus in life was to keep her entire family involved in church and having a true relationship with God so they each would be saved.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Larry Prestwood; parents, Jessie and Annie Mangum; son-in-law, Larry Gill; granddaughter, Kelli Prestwood; brothers, W.R Mangum and Harold Mangum; sister, Zelda Veale.

Survivors include her son, Stanley Prestwood (Robin); daughter, Cindy Gill; grandchildren, Marci Breaux (Brent), Ryan Gill (Louann), Kim Pittman, Kristi Magee (Tim), Maegan Blair (Justin), Chelsee Calvert (Jeremy),great-grandchildren,  Blake Deaver, Catelyn Deaver, Michael Gill, Dillon Gill, Weston Burney, Brett Pittman, Kenleigh Magee, Jones Magee, Ada Shaw, Silas Blair, and Lillian Calvert.
