WHO IS JESUS?

Have you ever wondered who Jesus Christ is and what did He do?  Open your heart and eyes as you read today’s devotion.

Our devotion today comes from the book of Isaiah.  Isaiah 9:6… For unto us a child is born unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulders and His name shall be called wonderful, counselor, the almighty God, the everlasting father, the prince of peace.

In your anger, do not sin

Rejoice always

July 31, 2026

In this scripture the prophet Isaiah tells us of a baby being born but this baby is not just any baby.  This baby was given to all the world to see and this baby will give love and life eternal for everyone.

We are on His mind as He was put on a rugged cross.  All sins will be covered by this child.  Powerful names are given to this child.  This baby can and will be with us for ever.

We can talk to Him through prayer and bible study.  Direction will be given to us.  The sick will be healed, the dead in Christ will be risen, miracles will be performed, and salvation will be given.

We must take up our cross and follow Jesus.  We must become a child of God today and live in a place call Heaven.  This baby will never fail or forsake us.  True peace is given to us by this baby.  At a place called Calvary eternal life is given to us just for the asking.

This baby one day will come back for us who are ready for his coming.  We must keep our eyes upon him and only him.  Do you want your life changed completely?  Father help us to come to you and lay our burdens and cares at your feet and leave them there.  Help us to let go of the  past.  Have a blessed and victorious week.

Rev. Richard Kight
