That’s right!!! My “baby” Breck has a birthday on Tuesday, September 12th! I sure miss being with him on his birthday! Dickey always said, “don’t mess with the baby are mama will get you…whoever you is!”
Breck and Larkin were 12 months apart. Breck was born on September 12, 1979 and Larkin on September 13, 1978! The first two years almost killed me! When we brought Breck home from the hospital, the fights were on! Here, I had this sweet little black haired baby all wrapped up in a blanket. Upon arriving from the hospital, I sat down and showed Larkin his new brother. Larkin immediately bite a chunk out of his arm…well, the rest is history.
Dickey always called Breck “a ton of fun.” Breck was chunky as a young child and heavier as a teenager with big muscles. The boy figured it out…and now he stays trim and lean! (Always looking good!)
Breck will be 38 and Larkin would have been 39!
I am not re-posting a remembrance to Larkin on his birthday…just including the memory in this post.
