WHAT DO YOU MEAN
As you read this devotion let Jesus speak to you. Sometime in our life the question is asked what do you mean this or that happened? How did this or that happened? Why did this or that happened? Where did this or that happened? In our devotion today we will answer these questions as well as Who made this happen.
Our reading today comes from John 3:16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. This scripture tells us Who Jesus loved. He loved the world. The world is you and I. What Jesus did by loving us is He bought eternal life for you and I. We are saved from a place call Hell. If we believe then we shall receive eternal life. Jesus died on the cross for all of us. Calvary is where Jesus purchased eternal life for us through the shedding of His life’s blood. The blood came by the hands and feet of Jesus being nailed to an old rugged cross. The blood came by the crown of thorns being rammed into the head of Jesus. The blood came also by a roman soldier’s spear piercing the side of Jesus.
The blood of Jesus will never lose its power. While Jesus was on the cross we were on His mind. The arms of Jesus are opened wide right now want you come to Jesus now and find out what real living is all about. Want you let this week be your week of victory.
At the cross is where you can truly find life at its best. You have tried everything give Jesus a try. Blessings are at its best and God’s well never runs dry.
