Mendenhall High School Class of 2019 made their last appearance on Tiger field as a group!

Graduation took place Thursday, May 23, 2019. The setting was one of elegance and professionalism.

Seniors entered the field from the home side and paraded around the track to the visitor’s  side to the music of their class song “Wish” by Rascal Flats.

Mendenhall High Band provided music to “Pomp and Circumstance” and the National Anthem. Members of the Junior Class served as ushers.

Ayesha Sanders serves as Class Historian and led in the Invocation. Romonica Feazell, Principal at Mendenhall High School, welcomed everyone. Brandon Walker delivered the Salutatory address. Kennedy Hanna served as Class Valedictorian and delivered the Valedictory address.

Terrance Hart, Mendenhall High School Assistant Principal, presented the Class of 2019. High School Counselor Andrea Shivers verified all graduates had met requirements for graduation. Romonica Feazell, Terance Hart, and Fonda Dickinson presented Diplomas to the graduates. Grace Herrington ordered graduates to turn their tassels. Hailey Herrin, Mendenhall graduate, led in the benediction. Graduates left the field to the song “Congratulations” by Post Malone.

The Class of 2019 choose black and gold as their class colors and the white rose as their class flower. Class Motto was we’re all we got and we’re all we need.
