The Airport Look

Travel has always been exciting to me! Whether you are traveling here in the U.S. or abroad packing well for your travel is important and so is your airport outfit! Comfort is essential but don’t dress like you just rolled out of the bed either. There’s a way to look nice and neat but not sloppy. Anything baggy can run the risk of looking sloppy, messy and like pajamas. Sweatpants that are fitted are fine. A simple t-shirt with a tailored leisure outerwear or jacket is acceptable. Kids, loafers, or sneakers are stylish for travel and hanging out. Running shoes and cross-trainers should only be worn when working out. Remember when traveling that a comfortable tailored look rather than athletic wear. I always opt for fashionable and functional for my on the go look.

If you want a nicer airport look, I wear jeans with lycra because they have more stretch or a boyfriend cut jean. Anything tight should be avoided. Again, a simple I-shirt for ease with a wrap sweater than can also helps if it’s cold on the plane. I pair this with a half boot pulling the outfit together for a real neat look. You have the option of carrying a floppy hat. They are cute and upon landing you don’t have to worry about your hair if you have had a long flight. Spend a bit more money on your jacket and shoes to survive your long airport days.

Some of my suggestions to include in your carry-on bag are:
Chewing gum
Make-up essentials
Protein bar
Water (fill up your own yeti after going through security)
Pen, pad, iPad, laptop, headphones (your choice)
Book or devotional

Once you arrive at your hotel or room, I unpack and hang up my clothes. It helps so clothes don’t get wrinkled and its better than digging them out of a suitcase. Now you can feel settled and approach whatever your travel have waiting for you.
