Simpson County Under-sheriff Richard Harper has announced that Johnny Lee Taylor is back in custody.
Lee was found in a house in D’Lo early Wednesday morning and is now back in the county jail

44 yrs old W/m approximately 6’0 175 pounds, last known address 1120 Miller Dr, Mendenhall MS. Taylor is wanted for jail escape. Last time seen Taylor had a full beard and was wearing a brown Simpson County Jail jumpsuit. Johnny Lee Taylor escaped from Simpson General Hospital Tuesday afternoon . The inmate was being treated for an injury…got out of his leg irons and escaped wearing a brown jump suit. Taylor has blue eyes and blonde hair, multiple tattoo and long facial hair.

Taylor was in the Simpson County jail for several felonies and misdemeanors.
