“Your Voice Will Be Heard at City Hall”.

Hello, I am Dolores King McDonald. I am publically announcing my candidacy for Alderman Ward 4, Magee. I decided to run for this position to promote changes in Ward 4 and help support other public officials in reaching the city’s goals.  I promote honesty, fairness and equality for all citizens. I endorse effective and efficient public safety services, business growth, developing social activities for our youth, and programs for senior citizens. My pledge to the citizens is to have an “open door policy” to listen to, to address their concerns at city hall, and provide feedback. I will work diligently as Alderman of Ward 4 to help uphold Ward 4 needs as comparable to other wards.

My background highly qualifies me for the position as Alderman of Ward 4. I am a life-long citizen of Simpson County and have lived in the City of Magee for over 35 years. I attend the Goodwater C.M.E. Church. I am the mother of one daughter, LaAndrea McDonald, a 2006 graduate of Magee High School.

I am a graduate of Magee High School, Copiah Lincoln Community College, University of Southern Mississippi and William Carey University. I have worked in the business sector and currently works as an educator.

I appreciate your support and vote, electing a voice for you, as your next Alderman of Ward 4, Magee.

Thank You,

Dolores King McDonald
