Dizzie and Desiree Mitchell, members of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Mendenhall and Rho Iota Zeta sorority, volunteered their time to clean up the yard of the house located at the end of the football field on 3rd Avenue NE. A few weeks ago, the dead trees and debris were removed. The house looked so much better…but the yard was still rough!
Dizzie and Desiree realized a lot of people pass this area and wanted our city to look better.
We appreciate these two “girls” and admire them for their desire to make a difference.
