Vicki Herrington Gore, 68, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2024, at UMMC in Jackson, MS. She was born September 21, 1955, in Magee, MS.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Siloam Baptist Church in Magee, MS from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. The service will be at 2:00 pm at the church with Bro. Gary Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Siloam Cemetery.
Vicki grew up in Magee and graduated from Simpson Academy where she was well known for her beautiful smile. She enjoyed time spent with family, friends, gardening and cooking. She had a love for all animals especially her beloved dog, Pepper. Her time spent with her two grandchildren, Reed and Grace, was the joy of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelly Gene Herrington and Dorothy Pope Herrington; her first husband, Bobby Ray Walker and her brother, Kelly Gene Herrington II.
Vicki is survived by her former husband of many years, Johnny Gore; her son, Chad Walker of Magee; her daughter, Dee Miller (Bryan) of Madison; grandchildren, Reed Miller and Mary Grace Miller of Madison; two brothers, Kenny Ray Herrington and Tommy Pope Herrington of Magee.
