Velma Cook, 97, of Mendenhall, passed from this life Monday, March 14, 2016 at Simpson General Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall in Mendenhall, Johnny Norris will officiate. Burial will be in Clear View Baptist Church Cemetery. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements, (601)847-4401.
