On April 29, 2015, K9 Officer Landon Ates and K9 Jade stopped a Nissan vehicle driven by Jordan Bryant for illegal tent 12%.

The driver opened the drivers door and K9 Officer Ates observed a plastic bag of alleged marijuana in the drivers door.

Officer Ates placed Bryant under arrest.

Officers found several more small plastic bags of marijuana and one large bag of marijuana. The total package weight of all marijuana was 1.2 pounds.

Bryant was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute marijuana and also charged with felony driving under the influence 3rd offense.

The vehicle Bryant was driving was seized by the Magee Police Department.

Chief Randy Crawford praised the work ethic of K9 Officer Landon Ates and his partner K9 Jade in the removal of this
large amount of marijuana from potentially reaching the streets of our great city.
