Circuit Clerk Steve Womack reported a record turnout of Simpson County voters in the Presidential Election.
According to Steve, Simpson County was 17,780 registered voters with 11,375 casting votes in the 2016 election.
“The voting process in our county ran smoothly. We had approximately 1,000 absentee ballots cast which is also a record for our county,” stated Womack
