ULYSSES GRANTHAM, MAGEE, MS
Ulysses Grantham passed away on Monday, June 29, 2016, at the age of 84. He was born on December 1, 1931, to his parents, the late Joe Grantham and Lottie (Buchanan) Grantham.
Mr. Grantham retired July 11, 1997 from Chicagoland Quad Cities as a forklift operator. He served in the United States Army and is a Korean War Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita (Saxton) Grantham; two daughters, Donna Marie Gilbert and Dawn Michelle Evans; three brothers, Earnest Grantham (Mary), Ohmar Grantham (Sarah) and Rev. Joseph Grantham (Helen); five sisters, Wynie B. Jones, Othella Jones, Mary E. Carnegie, Gertie Grantham, Ruby Grantham; two grandchildren, Erin Marie Evans and Trenton Gilbert; a host of nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Brodus Grantham and Clevester Grantham; one sister, Jane Clair Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2016, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home of Magee, Ms. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove CME Church in Magee, MS. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove CME Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee.
