The Magee Lions Club inducted two new members at their January business meeting. Presiding over the induction is Lion James Smith (center), Club Secretary and former Lion District Governor. Lion Ricky Anderson (left) sponsored new member Chip Hagler, retired Navy veteran and Federal Post Office worker, and Lion Dr. Denver Carter (far right) sponsored new member Denis Borge, Chief of Police for Magee. The club welcomed the new members and they were presented with their pins to wear proudly as members of Lions Club International.
Lions support vision needs in the community as well as some hearing needs. The motto of the Lions Club is “We Serve”.
