The Magee Police Department has made the following arrests:
Kenneth Thornton was arrested for Shoplifting (1st offense) and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Morgan Leslie Palmore was arrested for Driving While License Suspended (DWLS), Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device, and an active MDOC warrant.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
We have seen a decline in DUIs, and that was the goal. Fewer DUIs mean safer roads in Magee and better choices being made. We will continue to remain active and vigilant, working every day to protect our community.
Enforcement has not stopped, and we will always hold anyone who puts others at risk accountable. We are pleased with the overall outcome of the holiday period.
