The Scriptural passage for today is found in Isaiah 55:7: “Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.” The prophet of old is speaking words delivered to him by God Himself, urging those within the sound of his voice to turn from their wicked ways, repent, and embrace God as their Lord and Savior. God, in turn, will freely pardon them of their sins and restore them into the fold. Let us do likewise and reject the devil, repent, and receive shelter safe within the arms of God. What a comfort! What a transformation! Don’t put it off.
