Magee Trojans baseball team had another large district win Tuesday, April 3, 2018 over McLaruin by a score of 13-3.

Dalton Cockrell started things off in the first inning by singling on a 3-1 count and scoring one run.

Magee would score four runs in the third inning. Mason Booth, Landon Hayes,  and Zack Teater all drove in runs during the inning.

Seth Russell toed the rubber for the Trojans. Russell surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out three.

Magee totaled 11 hits in the game. Cockrell, Teater, and Hayes each had multiple hits for the Magee. Hayes, Teater and Cockrell all had two hits to lead Magee.

Magee was won a playoff berth, but their sites are focused on winning district. According to Coach Eubanks, the boys have got to get hot and stay hot, and keep grinding to the end.

Magee plays against McLaurin Friday at 6:30 weather permitting at home.

Magee JV was success on the night winning against McLaurin by a score of 12-6.
