Magee Varsity won come from behind to win Saturday, March 24th in seven innings against the 6A Pearl Pirates by a score of 7-6.

Aimon Chisholm singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring the first run of the game.

Pirates scored six runs in the first inning to go up and what they thought would be a quick easy game.

Trojan players would not let the score affect their play.

Trojans tallied in the fourth inning to score four runs and tie the game. The game would stay tied until seventh inning when Timon Kennedy singled on the first pitch of the at bat scoring one run and sealing the game.

Dalton Cockrell was the starting pitcher for the Trojans. Cockrell went six and a third innings, allowing six runs on seven hits snd striking out four.

Trojans will play at Crystal Springs Tuesday in a district game.

Magee JV would be just as successful on the day against Peal with a shut out win against Peal 11-0.

Special prayers for Assistant Coach Hancock and his family, as he received the news of his father passing away on his way home from Friday’s night game.
