Pitching was hot on both side of the ball Thursday, May 2, 2019. The game was a battle between pitchers that would end up victorious for Magee against South Lauderdale by a score of 2-0.
Luke West was on the mound for the Trojans. West did not allow a single run and only six hits on the evening.
Friday Magee traveled to South Lauderdale for game 2.
Game two would be a nail bitter going 9 innings before the Trojans would seal the deal by a score of 6-3.
Timon Kennedy would get the start for the Trojans. Kennedy lasted eight innings, allowing three runs on eight hits, striking out six and walking one.
With the win Magee advances to South State.
Games will start Thursday, May 9, 2019 on the road against West Marion at 6:00 p.m.
Friday Magee will play at home starting at 6:30 p.m. If game three is needed the game will be played Saturday at West Marion 6:00 p.m.
