Magee baseball got blanked 6-0 by Florence. Ladner, the pitcher from Florence, threw 6 no-hit innings and struck out 9. Costly errors in first inning gave Florence a 2-0 lead. Then Walker Ladner hit a Home run in the 3rd inning to put Florence up 3-0 until in the 6th inning. Florence would lengthen score by adding 3 more runs. Magee pitchers kept the game close and only gave up 5 hits and struck out 11. Adam May had the only hit of the night in the bottom of the seventh.
Next game is Thursday at home against Richland.
JV had a good showing in their game though, they won 8-1. Kaden Harper got the win pitching.
