Magee played Taylorsville Saturday, March 16, 2019. Magee scored 7 runs in the 6th inning to win 8-5. Taylorsville took advantage of costly errors and free bases to score 2 runs in the 5th inning and 3 runs in the 6th to take a 5-1 lead. Magee had a few opportunities to score but never could capitalize until late in the game by scoring 7 runs on 6 hits from Caleb Brown, Brennon McNair, Mason Booth, Landon Hayes, Zack Teater and Josh Sanders. Brennon McNair came in to pitch in the 5th inning and gets credit for the win. Timon Kennedy came in to pitch the 7th to get the save.
Magee JV stays undefeated on the year by winning 8-4. Kaden Harper gets another win pitching 3 no hit, shutout innings before Jordan Magee came in the 4 inning and allowed 4 runs all on walks and passed balls. Still gave up no hits. Cayden Bridges, Adam May, and Mason Booth all had hits.
