Magee lost to a good 6-A Germantown team 16-4. After scoring 2 in the top of the first inning, Germantown came out swinging the bats and scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the first. Germantown would continue to swing the bats and score 5 in the 2nd inning, followed by 3 in the 3rd inning. Magee would score 2 in the 4th inning before Germantown answered with 2 runs of their own. The game ended in the 5th inning due to mercy rule.

Magee played “shell-shocked’ early, had 6 errors, 10 strikeouts and walked 7. Can’t win when that happens. Magee seemed to settled down late but the damage had already been done. Good thing is Magee gets to play again Saturday in a double header at Pearl. Magee will play Morton at 2:30 and Pearl at 5:00.
