Magee Trojans were down 7-6 in the bottom of the 7th inning when Seth Russell hit a long drive to score two runs and win game 1 of the 2nd round of play off’s against Columbia Friday, April 26, 2019.

Magee never gave up. The fans were supportive and cheering these boys to victory!

Luke West toed the rubber for the Trojans. West allowed three hits and three runs over six and a third innings, striking out six.

Saturday, April 27, 2019 the Trojans traveled to Columbia for game 2 of the series.

Columbia looked to be ready for play during the 2nd inning by scoring 4 runs. Magee would not allow that to affect them and bounced back and won game 2 by a score of 17-7.

Timon Kennedy led things off on the mound for the Trojans. Kennedy allowed seven runs on ten hits over seven innings, striking out five and walking one.

Seth Russell hit a home run in the 5th inning for the Trojans.

Magee will advance to the 3rd round of play off’s with the win. Magee will face South East Lauderdale. Games times are as follow: Thursday At Magee at 6:30, Friday at SE Lauderdale at 6:00, and Saturday at Magee TBA if necessary. (weather permitting)

Magee still needs your support. Come out and cheer these Trojans on!
