Magee played great competition this weekend. Even though the Trojans lost against Oak Grove 6-2 and Sumrall 7-6, Friday the team played well. Magee had 2 costly errors in each game. The Trojans bounced back Saturday defeating Ridgeland 11-0 behind great pitching from Timon Kennedy who went 6 innings allowing 4 hits and no runs with 5 strikeouts. Aimon Chisholm led the weekend hitting going 5 for 8 with 2 singles, a double, a triple, and a grandslam Homerun. He had 6 RBIs on the weekend. The Trojans are now 12-7 on the year and 6-0 in district play with a big series against  McLaurin this week.
