(February 10, 1945 – July 29, 2023)

Travis Billy Hall, 78 of Braxton, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the MS Care Center in Raleigh, Mississippi. He was born on Saturday, February 10, 1945, in Baldwin, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will follow in Salem-Cato Cemetery in Brandon, Mississippi. Dr. Jack Partridge will officiate. Special music will be performed by Bro. Joe Styron.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mr. Billy was a member of Cato Baptist Church in Braxton, Mississippi.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, working in his garden, but most of all spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Andrew Hall; mother, Essie McGill Hall; and brother, G.A. Hall.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Peggy Jones Hall of Cato, MS; one son, Travis Steven Hall (Angela) of Puckett, MS; one daughter, Mandy Lee Hall Channell (Jim) of Pelahatchie, MS; five grandchildren, Blake Hall (Madeline) of Petal, MS, Wade Hall (Lindsey) of Cato, MS, Lainey Channell of Pelahatchie, MS, Easton Channell of Pelahatchie, MS and Ryder Channell of Pelahatchie, MS; one brother, James Wesley Hall (Bonnie) of Brandon, MS; one sister, Rene Hall Ainsworth (Robbie) of Cato, MS; one sister-in-law, Pat Hall of Brandon, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Blake Hall, Wade Hall, Jim Channell, Jim Hall, Richard Weaver, and Steve Weaver.

Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Channell and Ryder Channell.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the MS Care Center of Raleigh, MS, and Accent Hospice Group for all of the special care given to Mr. Billy.
