Tony William Canoy, 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, in Magee. He was born on July 27, 1956, to the (late) Durwood William Canoy and Mildred (Thompson) Canoy Ferrell of Magee.

Mr. Canoy was a life-long resident of Magee and retired from Georgia Pacific.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene (Green) Canoy, his mother and stepfather, Mildred and Larry Ferrell; one son, Rodney Canoy (Rose Anna); two sisters, Linda Cooper, Brenda Hutto, and grandson Jax Canoy.

Mr. Canoy was preceded in death by his father, Durwood William Canoy and brother Ran Canoy.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 13, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Magee. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery. Keith Cooper and Donald Wayne Green will officiate.

Arrangements are entrusted with Tutor Funeral Home of Magee. Online condolences may be made online at www.tutorfuneralhome.com
