Wednesday, May 25, 2022, heavy thunder storms entered Simpson County at approximately noon.  The lightening illuminated the area with negative cloud to ground lightening.

Several trees fell in the Magee area.  NAPA, located on 149 in Magee, suffered damage to the roof and side of the building.

A large tree fell on Rail Road drive and 2nd Avenue (near the old Martha’s Place).  The heathy tree took a hit splitting the limb.

Please be cautious as more storms are expected.
