THREE FACES OF JESUS
Today I would like for you to read this devotion with an opened mind so you can absorb, an open heart so you can love, open ears so you can hear and open eyes so you can see what an awesome God we truly serve. Listen today as God speaks to you today.
Our first scripture is found in Luke 2:16. And they came with haste and found Mary, Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. The shepherds were told of Jesus birth they came first and fast and found Him and worshipped Him. When we hear of someone that is going to have a baby we get so excited for them. The baby’s family starts making plans for its arrival. Everyone gets so excited.
We need to get that excited about the birth of Jesus. Jesus was born to redeem the world of its sin. How excited are we about the birth of Jesus? Jesus could have been born anywhere He chose to be. He chose a manger because that is the lowest of births. We must not leave Jesus in the manger. We must lift Him up as Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
Luke 23:33, and when they were come to the place which is called Calvary there thy crucified Him and the male factors one on the right hand and the other on the left hand. Jesus was lead to Calvary we were on His mind. Salvation was bought then and there. One cross plus three nails equals forgiveness. Jesus gave His life on Calvary to complete phase two of His heavenly father’s will. Jesus prayed Father let this cup pass from me not my will but thy will be done.
Are you still crucifying Jesus? You are if you do not know Him through the forgiveness of your sins and become His child today.
A crown of thorns was pushed down into the forehead of Jesus so deep that blood came down the sides of the face of Jesus. His hands were nailed to an old wooden cross, His feet were placed one on top of the other and a nail or spike was driven through His feet. The cross was picked up and slammed into the ground breaking the hands and feet of Jesus. Come to the cross of Jesus and find out what true living is all about.
Jesus wants you just way you are. His arms are opened wide right now. To become a child of God we must repent, be filled with the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues as the spirit gives the utterance, take up our cross, follow Jesus and then serve Him.
Rev. 21:2, And I John saw the Holy City New Jerusalem coming down from God out of Heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Jesus is coming back as a thief in the night. The new heaven will be perfect.
There want be any more pain, sorrow, sickness, or death…old things will be passed away. My question for you today is do you know Christ Jesus as your King of Kings and Lord of Lords?
Because of the three faces of Jesus… Birth, death, and resurrection, we can live forever in a place call Heaven. If Jesus came right now would you go home to be with Him? Father we thank you for salvation a gift that is ours free.
Please do not be the same person you were before you read this devotion. Give Jesus the best gift you could ever give Him. This gift is your life. Have a blessed and victorious week.
