Thomas Shaun Meehan, 41 of Brandon, Mississippi passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born Monday, December 21, 1981 in Tampa, Florida.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will follow that same evening at 6:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Edward Meehan Jr. will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Shaun was a jack of all trades, being an avid gamer, artist, and reader of comics and books. He loved deeply, especially his family. He was fun-loving and always kept you on your toes. Although at times he could be a bit rebellious, he was a generous person always giving his time to help others. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply and dearly missed by all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Juanita Munn; mother-in-law, Stephanie Kaye Jacobs; great grandmother, Marie “Big” Burkes.
Survivors include his wife, Brandy Kaye Jacobs Meehan; daughter, Alexis Kaye Meehan; father, Edward Joseph Meehan, Sr. (Karen); mother, Rosa Ann Warren Meehan; brother, Edward Joseph Meehan, Jr. (Katie); nephews, Hunter Meehan, Case Callahan and Cain Callahan (Crystal); nieces, Mackenzie Meehan Laguna (Matt), Paris Stanley and London Meehan; great nieces, Avalyn Laguna and Ruby Callahan; father-in-law, Russell Timothy Jacobs; mother-in-law, Betty Ruth Hendrix Jacobs; sister-in-law, Melinda Carolyn Jacobs Callahan (John “Jake”); and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness).
