The Golden Tigers pulled out a 31-14 win at Legion Field over the Morehouse Maroon Tigers.  Magee’s own Jaden Franks #68 is the center for Tuskegee.  Jaden is a graduate of Magee High School.

  • Williams was named the Morehouse Tuskegee Classic Most Valuable Player for his performance, finishing the day 12-for-19 with 196 yards and a touchdown through the air, while adding 11 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
  • The Golden Tigers rushed for 120 total yards on the day, led again by senior Taurean Taylor (Stockdale, Ga.) with 82 yards on 14 carries.
  • While Harvey caught the only touchdown for Tuskegee on the day, four other receivers caught multiple passes with Rodricus Magee (Jackson, Miss.), Meeks, Jordan Ogletree (LaGrange, Ga.), and Petty all catching a pair of passes.
  • Senior linebacker Woodly Appolon (Montreal, Canada) led the way defensively with nine total tackles including seven solos, while Jeremy Dees (Evergreen, Ala.) and JQuan Hicks (Jacksonville, Fla.) finished with six and five tackles respectively on the defensive line.
  • The Golden Tigers recorded multiple sacks for the second consecutive game, sacking Morehouse quarterbacks three times on the day.
