The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in Ecclesiastes 9:17: “The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.” Let us be careful from whom we take counsel in our daily lives If we enlist God’s guidance and remain in close contact with Him through prayer, He will lead us in the right path by providing the “quiet words” needed for every situation in which we find ourselves. We’re told on every hand what to think and how to act by those who purport to know, but it is God in whom the Christian is to place trust and rely on for wise counsel. Let’s not forget to keep our eyes clearly focused on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Amen!
Today is slated to be another beautiful one with temps once again rising. As you go about your daily routine, be sure to remember to share the love, joy, and kindness you have with others. They have the ability to soothe someone’s hurts and disappointments and bring a smile to their face. Happy Thursday!

Love the devotions. I use the app and your devotion doesn’t show up anywhere I can find! I like to share but can’t.
