The Scriptural passage selected for today is found in 2 Timothy 1:12: “I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced the He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him for that day.” Yes, the gospel writer knew beyond any doubt that Jesus, Lord of all, was the One in whom he believed, and he was totally convinced that his faith and trust were well-placed. He knew that God would see him through. Do we have that kind of abiding faith? We should. It’s there for the asking and taking. Today is the accepted time. The gift of salvation is offered freely. Once we repent of our sins and accept it, all Heaven will be ours someday. Amen!
