Just Saying….I received this information from a reader who wanted feed back from the public.  Do you agree or disagree?  Interesting read!

The current world population is about seven billion. Three hundred and twenty million of those are in the United States. What would happen if suddenly half the world population were relocated here, making the U.S. population roughly 3.5 billion? Would there be enough food, water, housing, work, living space? I could go on but you get the picture.
A far fetched idea you say? Consider this and you may forget about global warming as a potential problem.
The Civil War ended in 1865. There were 600,000 killed, amounting to 2% of the U.S. population at the time. These numbers tell us our population was 30 million in 1865. (600,000 is 2% of 30 million).
Now, 150 years later, U.S. population has increased by a factor of 10, to over three hundred million. Assuming our population continues to grow at the same rate, the U.S. population will reach over three billion in 150 years. All the issues mentioned above will be a reality. We won’t be alone in the world with a problem. World population will presumably keep growing right along with us. So no relief there. This will only add to our problems.
No one is currently addressing this issue. Could the human race become a victim if it’s own success as a species?
