Many years ago, my oldest son Dickey wrote a paper about our earth. He won the competition. But really, I won…not because I “did” his paper…because I did not write my sons’ papers…they were much smarter than me! I won because I became aware of our earth and we…you and I…must keep our earth clean for generations to enjoy.
Sunday, April 22nd is Earth Day. Every time I read something about Earth Day…my mind goes back to that paper years ago when Dickey said to me…the earth is ours to keep….
True words my friends…words that we as young and old people must take seriously. Sunday, at least pick up a piece of litter…do something to celebrate our wonderful earth that God made.
