The district had 0 staff members and 4 students to test positive this week. In order to ensure the safety of the staff and student body, 2 staff members and 80 students were quarantined.
This is the  third week masks have been made optional. We are monitoring COVID-19 cases within the school district to ensure the following positivity rates are not exceeded.
Student positivity: 1%
Staff positivity: 10%
District positivity: 1.5%
Quarantine rate: 7.5%
If any school exceeds the student and staff positivity rate or the quarantine rate, the mask mandate will be reinstated at that school site
The nursing staff at each school continues to work diligently to ensure all protocols and procedures are being followed.
We will continue to monitor and keep you updated on our progress.
Thank you,
Judith Jones, RN, BSN
