TRAFFIC ADVISORY:

Temporary closure on U.S. Highway 84 in Lincoln County

WHO:          The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).

WHAT:        Temporary highway closure.

WHEN:        Friday, March 27 starting at 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

WHERE:      U.S. Highway 84 at Interstate 55 in Lincoln County.

WHY:          On Friday, March 27, crews will begin work on a resurfacing project on Highway 84 at I-55. A section of the highway will be closed in all directions along with the entrance and exit ramps.

Local traffic is advised to find an alternate route. Motorists are reminded to be on high alert for roadside workers. Learn how to navigate a highway work zone safely, as well as other safe driving tips at GoMDOT.com/drivesmartms
