Several members of the Magee Board of Aldermen took time to expand their knowledge of city planning and zoning responsibilities by attending a training session on Friday, October 10, 2025.

Aldermen Suzie Bourne, Sue Honea, Lawana Thompson, and Allyson Berch participated in the class held at the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District.

The session provided basic instruction on Comprehensive Plans and Zoning Ordinances, giving city officials a clearer understanding of how these tools guide growth and development within a municipality.
