Simpson County Technical Center is featuring its Health Informatics (HI) and Career Pathways Experience(CPE) Programs. Pictured is the instructor, Mrs. Pam Woodard, with student, Jayla Byrd. HI appeals to students who have an interest in using technology and software to analyze data about healthcare and related fields, resulting in better decisions by consumers and health care providers. CPE provides students the opportunity to take knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and to apply and test that learning in the workplace. Students in HI and CPE have the option of joining the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), which is the student organization for students enrolled in these courses. Mrs. Woodard is the FBLA sponsor for the Simpson County Technical Center.
