Beautiful day, beautiful home, beautiful people, and beautiful food…Tea in the Gardens, sponsored by the Magee Chamber of Commerce at the beautiful historical McAlpin House, was a huge success. People, literally by the bus load, poured onto the gardens and grounds of the McAlpin House where thirteen vendors were selling their wares. Marshall Ramsay, Jo McViditt, and Carolyn Haines were present to autograph their books. Buddy Mullins entertained the crowd with song.
Gloria Lucas, owner of the McAlpin House, was as always the gracious hostess. 
The annual “Good Friday” event has become a tradition. Donna Martin won the grand prize—a gorgeous wreath. (Chamber Board member, Diane McPhail & her daughter Angel Brister)
