Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Mississippi.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville.             Mrs. Gray was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend.  She was a hardworking and loyal nurse for over twenty-three years.  She didn’t just go the extra mile but the extra ten miles.  She never failed to help people out when there was a staff shortage, regardless that she had just finished a twelve hour shift or maybe 7/8 days working in a row.  She would leave one job and go to another job.  She always had a smile on her face no matter how tired she was. She was very kind to all her patients and had a positive influence on everybody she came in contact with. On her time off, she enjoyed traveling the world over with her family and friends, working with her flowers, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, David Allen Gray; parents, Harmon C. and Florence Stringer Phillips.

Survivors include three sons, Allen Gray of Taylorsville, Jody Gray and wife, Laura of Bay Springs, and Jason Gray and wife, Jill of Seminary; seven grandchildren, Ashton Gray, Dalton Gray, Danielle Reagan, Braden Gray, Jake Gray, Jana Gray, and Madelyn Gray; four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn McDaniel, Taytay Wilson, Gatlin Gray, and Harper Gray; one sister, Gail Phillips Blakeney of Taylorsville; two brothers, Glenn Phillips and wife, Kay of Bay Springs and Robin Phillips and wife, Joyce of Bay Springs; two aunts, June Thornton and husband, Joe of Pearl and Ann Harriup of Texas; a special friend, Betty Bryant of Raleigh; and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Phillips, David Phillips, Cooper McNeil, Michael Blakeney, Dalton Gray, and Braden Gray. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Mack Blakeney, Jake Gray, Charles Thornton, Stanley Blackwell, and Wallace Smith.
